Album Review: Sticky Fingers 'Land Of Pleasure'

Sticky Fingers were the Triple J feature album last week with Land of Pleasure. If you saw my instagram post the other day you would be aware that the boys were in the office doing a signing in preparation for the album release!



The album was out on Friday August 2nd and the latest single 'Just For You' is iTunes Single Of The Week... YAY free downloads!
I would really encourage you to seek out and purchase the album though. You won't regret it. The thing I love about Sticky Fingers is their unpredictability, in their actions and their music. You never know what the next track will sound like. While at the same time their consistency leaves you convinced that each song will be followed by something in a different species of wonderful. Such is the case with Land Of Pleasure.

The stand out tracks are of course Gold Snafu, Land Of Pleasure and Lazerhead. If you buy the album on iTunes (or Physically) you get a bonus track called Gasoline Can Man.
As if you need extra incentive right? I'd really recommend getting a copy on vinyl. That way you get the bonus track AND a larger version of the photograph of Dylan on Christmas day with a precious little kitty-cat. BEST. PHOTO. EVER. Agree?
