Weekly Round Up: John Mayer, Earl Sweatshirt, Frank Ocean, Prince, Panic At The Disco and Paramore

I am currently overseas so it's been a little difficult to keep up with new release tracks and clips. But thankfully i had a pretty chill day today and was able to do a little catch up. Check out the below, apologies if i am a little below on the times and you have already seen/heard these.

On another note, guess who got tickets to AlunaGeorge gig in Sydney in October? (That would be ME!) AHHHHHHHH!!!!

To start you off with a little preview (well i assume its a preview otherwise its a pretty short song).
John Mayer has released his new album a tad early due to a leakage. It is available on iTunes now but will be officially released next week. Titled Paradise Valley.

In another preview release this week we have none other than Prince of Pop, the artist formally known as and yet still known as....PRINCE! The Purple Rain singer has done us all a solid and joined twitter. From this specific medium he has graced us with a preview of his new track Groovy Potential. And BY GOD is it groovy. I really need to address his song-naming accuracy.

 



Now for a formally emo-update. Punk rockers Panic At The Disco (or, Panic! At The Disco if you are like me and will forever remember them fondly with nostalgic punctuation) have a new album on the way. Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die is out October 8th through iTunes.

IF you are like me and still awaiting a similarily brillant follow up to their debut A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, this could be it. Second single released 'This Is Gospel' shows maturity and growth for the boys and it's catchy as hell. You just need to give it a few seconds to take off. *Fingers Crossed* this could be the album I've waited for since 2005's ridiculously unexpected brillance of the following lyrics:
