Your Cover's Blown: Feat. Lorde, Kings Of Leon and Bastille

I love a good cover. It's a great way to refresh a tired old song that perhaps you have over-listened to (as i tend to do with tracks I love).

This week Kings of Leon surprised us all with a fantastic cover of Robyn's Dancing On My Own and can i just say they kill it. Watch below:

Back to this side of the world and NZ songstress taking the world by storm Lorde covered Kanye West's Hold My Liquor in the sexiest way possible. So hard to believe she is only 16. I can't wait to see her live next month.

Side note: I would shave her bald to get that hair. What a stunner.

Now I'm not to sure how many country/western fans there are reading this but if there are any I recommend that you check out this cover of Miley's Wrecking Ball by The Gregory Brothers. Such a good version, even though it sounds a little like the theme to a Beverly Hillbillies sequel. Covers like this are great at displaying the versatility of a track.

While we are on the Miley topic, if you love We Can't Stop I want your vote of who covered it best. Bastille's Mashup of Eminems 8 Mile anthem Lose Yourself (and a lil bit of Papa Cyrus) VS. Postmodern Jukebox's doo wop version. (Don't worry they are both twerk free)
