Absence of TV Opportunities for Australian Bands

I wish Australia had the abundance of Late Night TV shows that the states do. Whether you’re a Fallon, Kimmel or Conan fan there is something for everyone (even the weirdos that preferred Letterman).
It would give Australian bands a chance to launch on TV on there own shores, preferably on a show more credible than Rove Live.

The ABC and SBS have had a few opportunities over the years but not near enough, especially with such regular programming cancellations. If you ask me we need more Spicks & Specks, More RocKwiz, more Countdown! And maybe a little less 7th Heaven reruns (seriously did anyone watch it the first time round!)
